Lend your ear for a few minutes. A short reading from J. I. Packer’s book, Knowing God, followed by some thoughts to ponder on our understanding of Jesus Christ, just might serve to illuminate your heart and mind this Friday.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
I love you all, and I keep you in my prayers. As always, I would love to hear from you. I pray your Easter weekend be deeply blessed, even from the confines of home. Celebrate what the Lord Jesus has done.

These small white flowers dance along the fence by the cemetery just behind our home. We have walked through many cemeteries together in the past few years. I pray that our minds would ever be set on Christ in life, and that our perspective on death would be found through the lens of knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior. We have died to self. Our bodies will one day die. Yet, we will be raised with Christ. This is reality for all who know the God of creation, the God of the gospel; the God of Good Friday and the God of Easter.
