We’ve been given the full length story because God has provided us with His awesome game plan in the pages of the Bible. It spills with stories of love, the love that He has for us. The Gospel tells of our great Savior, Jesus, and all that His compassion {for us!} drove Him to endure. We have that. That’s a cool blessing.
But there is an enemy. Satan likes to remind us of our faults and our failures. Satan tries to take the cross out of view. Satan tries to hide the grace and the love and the compassion that have been poured out for us. Satan tries to cover us in shame, pull us in every wrong direction, and bind us to our past. Satan is deceitful. He would love for us to lose sight of the cross, the empty grave, and the risen King who shows Himself to each of us daily.
Be reminded that you are not the sum of your mistakes. You are not defined by the sin, but you’re a new creation in Christ. You are being remade. He has started a good work in you and He’s going to continue that good work. He won’t stop.
Don’t buy the cheap crap Satan is selling. The authentic, true, full-length edition has been given freely.
Know that you are a child of God. Know that you have a Savior that loved you enough to take your place, and that He shows a fresh, new love for us each and every day. Know that the story doesn’t end at the cross. The story doesn’t end with our faults and failures.
There was an empty grave. There is a risen King. There is great grace. There is freedom. It is found in Jesus. Don’t let Satan steer you away from that.
I would love to share more with you about Jesus. He is more than a long haired, bearded, historical character. In fact, He is the Savior that this world is in desperate need of. If I can talk with you, encourage you, urge you on, or just share with you about my experiences with Christ, I would love to do so. It is my prayer that you come to know Jesus, for who He truly is, and that you live your life for Him.
